The Lady Janies Book Tag

Hey everyone!!

I’m back with another tag. The Lady Janies Book Tag. I was tagged for this by the eversweet Raya from Raya’s Reads (thank you so much Raya, much love ❤️❤️❤️). You can check out her post here. The tag was originally created by Rebecca from Bookishly Rebecca and Ellyn from Allonsythornraxx.

  • Thank the person who nominated you.
  • Answer all the questions down below.
  • Pingback to the creators Rebecca & Ellyn.
  • Nominate 5+ bloggers to do this tag.

1. Jane Lynch: A favorite book featuring a character on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum.

We are Okay by Nina LaCour. Features a gay protagonist Marin and also her best friend Mabel who is bi-

2. Lady Jane Grey: A short book that packed a punch.

Wonder by R. J. Palacio. This book ripped my heart to pieces then stomped on every one of them with all its might. A really important story packed in a very short book.

3. Jane Austen: Favorite heroine in a classical book.

Alice from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. That little girl who was slightly off her head has my heart since i read the book for the first time in fifth grade.

4. Jane Eyre: Your favorite retelling.

The Lunar Chronicles by Merissa Meyer. The ultimate all-in-one sci-fi/fantasy retelling written in a dystopian sort of future. I don’t know how any retelling could top that. (Sorry ACOTAR 😅)

5. Calamity Jane: Your most anticipated release.

Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare. The wait is killing me.

6. Jane Fonda: A character who upholds feminist ideals.

Diana Prince. Well if we’re talking about feminism and bad-ass females then who can top the list if not Wonder Woman herself.

7. Jane Krakowski: An underrated book you wish more people would read

Vassa in the Night by Sarah Porter. This is possibly the most bizarre book I’ve ever read and I love it so much. But the thing I’ve not seen many people talking about it, and that is something that needs to be righted.

8. The Lady Janies: Two or more authors you wish would write a book together.

Can you imagine the masterpiece that would come into existence if Leigh Bardugo and Laini Taylor write something together. With Laini’s lyrical writing and Leigh’s world building, it will be more than anything i could ask for.

That’s all from me today. Happy Reading 🙂
