Top Five Wednesday: Favorite Book Covers

T5W is a weekly meme hosted by Sam @ Thoughts on Tomes over on Goodreads. The topic this week is Favorite Covers.

Whoever said to not judge a book by its cover definitely hasn’t laid his eyes on these. I’m telling you to definitely judge these beauties by their covers. They’re gorgeous inside and out.

1. Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare

Definitely my all-time favorite cover. The subtle ‘shine’ the cover has, and the color scheme and the dress are all just perfect.

2. We are Okay by Nina Lacour

The blue and pink contrast of the illustration and the point that the illustration is sort of the main focus and not the title. Ilovethissomuch.

3. Dreamology by Lucy Keating

I haven’t actually it read it, I’ll hopefully fix that soon 😅. I got it solely for the cover. I mean just look at it. Isn’t it gorgeous?

4. Alice in Wonderland and Anne of Green Gables; Anna Bond illustrated editions.

Since both are done by the same illustrator, I’m going to cheat a bit and count them both 😁. Of all the editions of Alice in Wonderland this one is probably my most favorite. Its filled with the most beautiful illustrations inside as well. I just love both of these.

5. Rule by Ellen Goodlett

I haven’t read it yet. But I’m going to presume its just as beautiful on the inside as on the outside.

So there you have it. These were my picks for today’s prompt.

Until next time. Happy Reading 🙂

  1. These are all fabulous! Although I don’t read Cassandra Clare I find her covers to be some of the most beautiful ever. Never seen Anna Bond’s illustrations but they’re amazing–I love my cover of Anne of Green Gables but I wouldn’t mind having Bond’s one at all.

    1. Thanks ❤️ I couldn’t agree more.
Anna Bond’s illustrations have such a unique style and they’re so pretty as well. She actually did the illustrations for the Puffin in Bloom Collection which has Little Women and Heidi along with Anne of Green Gables and Alice in Wonderland. The whole set is just perfection.(I think i should just shut up now 😅 i could gush about these all day)
